BLACK AND BROWN OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROFIT ACADEMY

At the BBOP Center, we believe the future of entrepreneurship begins with real-world exposure, mentorship, and meaningful collaboration. This summer, we proudly partnered with Entrepreneur High School to bring that vision to life—offering hands-on internship opportunities that connect students with the tools and experiences needed to grow as leaders in business and innovation.

One of the standout highlights of this initiative was welcoming Serenity, a remarkable student leader and national officer with SkillsUSA, who joined the BBOP team as a summer intern. With her strong voice, strategic thinking, and passion for service, Serenity brought fresh energy to our programs and quickly became an integral part of the work we do to support emerging entrepreneurs.

“Interning at BBOP gave me the opportunity to see what it takes to build community through entrepreneurship,” Serenity shared. “It helped me grow my leadership skills in ways I didn’t expect.”

From supporting outreach efforts to contributing to special projects, Serenity’s time with BBOP gave her a front-row seat to the entrepreneurial ecosystem—and gave us the honor of working alongside a future changemaker.

This collaboration is part of BBOP’s larger commitment to shaping the next generation of business leaders across the Inland Empire. By connecting students to hands-on learning experiences in real business environments, we’re helping cultivate the confidence, skills, and networks they need to thrive.
